Samantha Wills is an Australian ‘Luxe Bohemian’ jewellery brand that have beautiful products in a huge range of styles. Personally, I am always drawn to delicate and fine jewellery but they also have some amazing statement pieces too. What I love about this brand is the mixture of metals with stone and colour. For a while now I have been pinning dozens of pictures of delicate gold jewellery with tiny black stone inlays and pendants on Pinterest; so when I saw the range of black and gold pieces on the Samantha Wills website, I pounced at the opportunity!

SW pieces make gorgeous gifts, especially their ‘Beautiful Mantras’ necklaces. These bar necklaces have been on trend for a while now and I love layering them with other fine necklaces. What’s even better is that all SW jewellery comes in a velvet bag nestled inside a beautifully carved wooden box. Honestly I was almost as excited for the boxes as I was for the jewellery!! Perfect for storing your purchases or just adding a bit of boho love to your decor.

Keep an eye out for a great sale and check out the SW Blog for a first look at each of the exquisite collections. Happy shopping!

Flower Child & OOTD

Sunny Autumn weather, a new outfit and brunch at a new café with a fab friend. No complaints here!

The weather in Sydney has quite quickly changed from the sweltering 30+degree weeks that we had in January and February. However the sun is still here and I am loving the autumn weather now!

Yesterday I had brunch at a new café in Chatswood called Flower Child. I love the decor! Looks like you are inside an adorable greenhouse with hanging plants hovering above your head making it a cosy sanctuary. The space is designed by Acme & Co, the studio that also designed The Grounds of Alexandria, and it is clear to see that playful and whimsical influence. They have done very well to use the small space and also manage to somehow make you forget you are in the middle of Chatswood Westfield shops.

Then there’s the food. The menu looked amazing and they serve all day breakfast. TICK! Anywhere that has all day breakfast is a winner in my books! Everything that came out of the kitchen was presented with care and taste and looked delicious. Catherine and I both had to go for the French Toast, and I can tell you I didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. With a swipe of caramel on the side, cinnamon throughout and topped with berries and flowers it did not fail to deliver.

Great food, gorgeous setting and a super adorable name – I would definitely recommend paying Flower Child a visit if you are in the area.

I love this outfit at the moment. The rust colour screams autumn but is still quite summery which is perfect for the weather at the moment. Rust as a colour was something I used to avoid but I have been in love with flowy rust coloured tops at the moment and so when I saw this Tree of Life top I just had to get it! It has a cut out at the back and along the shoulders and just hangs really well. I love the detail on the front too. As for the white jeans, I have seen so many people rocking this trend but I admit I was a little scared (I mean white skinny jeans, not many places to hide there!) but I thought I’d give them a go and I really love the fit of these ones from Sportsgirl with rips in the knees. We’ll see how long they remain sparkling white for!

Summer in Red & Silver

It’s been a while since I last posted (I could make excuses but let’s be honest I’ve just been having a bit of a holiday!) so here is a quick outfit of the day.

I have been loving this look over the summer, especially the off-the-shoulder tops and lace up sandals that have been major trends this summer. I’ve also been wearing a lot more silver jewellery of late. I used to avoid silver like the plague thinking that gold looked classier, however I found that unless it’s real gold a lot of ‘gold’ jewellery just discoloured and didn’t last more than a few wears. So, simple silver has been a go to for me recently. Particularly after my birthday, receiving a few gorgeous silver rings, which have hardly come off my fingers this month! One of my favourites was the Basic Bubble Silver Ring from Pandora. It goes with pretty much anything and is really elegant stacked or by itself.

HAIR UPDATE: For those that have read my last post, you would know that for my birthday last month I got my hair done in a subtle balayage style. It is not very dramatic but like any change it often takes me a bit of time to work out how much I actually like it. Plus my hair definitely doesn’t always look like it did when I walked out of the hair salon! (Cue frizzy bedhead afro) BUT after about a month I can safely say I am really enjoying the length, the cut and the colour! I was worried for a while that I looked like a tiger (Both the lion and tiger emoji made an appearance a lot this month!) but I have grown to like the highlights. I had the intention of getting it done over the summer so I could have beachy highlighted waves and days like today make me glad I got it done. Good hair days are the best!

What has been your favourite trend this season?

Blush & Black

OOTD | Autumn envy

Don’t get me wrong, I can NOT WAIT until summer and I’m so excited that it is finally spring, however, as a red headed girl who’s wardrobe mainly consists of khaki, maroon and navy blue, I can’t help but be a little envious of all the autumn style pics that are currently filling up everyone’s blog feeds!

So here is a bit of an autumn inspired look that I wore today:

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to be doing another style post for you guys. Especially this one! On my travels I picked up this gorgeous black and white maxi dress from H&M in London and just felt like I had to wear it in the beautiful Old Pierrefeu. Today, as I write this post, I am sitting in the sun enjoying the fact that Spring is finally here!! And looking back at this look makes me even more excited!
